    The DA supports affirmative action targeted at individuals (not groups) who suffer the disadvantage of the apartheid legacy. We also support broad-based BEE schemes. But the big impact in addressing the legacy of the past can only be through job creation and quality education. Millions would benefit. That's real empowerment.
